Jesus is the reason for my existence. I tried to choose between being a bum or a musician, but then I realized they're the same thing. I'm addicted to coffee and Owl City. My purpose in life is to be all things to all people to lead some of them to Christ, and to love everyone to the hilt. I want to show you kindness like you've never seen before. I want to write a song for you. I wanna feel alive forever after.
All I can say is... I'm ready to get out of here and trade this place for a college dorm. Really. I may be waiting another year or so but man. I just really want to. I'm ready for tomorrow to be here so I can yet again go to church. I'm just up, and ready to go.
Highlights. I highlighted my hair, yesterday? Or was it the day before that... ah. Got a little behind on you,blogger :/ But anyhoo, here be the results.
Yesterday. Yesterday, was nice. The new kid, asked to sit by me. Although he's not so much the "new kid" anymore. I just need a nickname for him. Okay,I've got it. We can call him Robin. Like batman & robin? hahah. As random as that was. So he asked if he could sit by me, and I said of course. He then proceeded to tell me how horrible the puppet skit went Sunday, because she-who-shall-not-be-named was hitting on him, and her boyfriend threatened to beat him up. He did nothing wrong. That girl,is 13 and a ... well a something. She needs some Jesus. Church is not a place to pick up guys! (it's just a bonus) But anyway, he got all funny and kept laughing and talking about random stuff. He was quite humorous, I'm not sure why. He said he liked my shoes,and that I have pretty writing. My writing is very sloppy, by the way. They had free cake after church. He told me he was hungry, and I said,dude me too. Then they were like, we have cake at the end! It was like heaven to hear those words. The cake was bite sized... because they almost didn't have enough. Lame. But I ended up getting icing all over my face. Fun times. He also said bye to me more than once. It was rather funny. And kind of ironic that he had been parked right in front of my car, so we both proceeded to get in our cars and leave.. like nothing happened. I don't know. I just had a weird day. But I liked it. And today I think I'm going to highlight my hair. Other than that,movies and re-cooperating. Sounds rather good to me.
2010. I never made an official goodbye to 2009 post. I kind of noticed that. I didn't post any of my 2009 memories. 2009 was one of my worst years. In all honesty. I learned the most in 2009 though. Mostly so I could make 2010 the best year. It's not turning out too great yet either. I'm not sure what to do about it. I'm just trying to change some things. 2009 was tough, so many tears. Which brought me through all my fears, (and no that wasn't meant to rhyme) Now the only thing I fear,is fear itself. I got tired of getting awkward and embarrassed so easily. Now I'm just dealing with it. I put God as my main focus (somewhat) about halfway through 2009,and that didn't make it any easier. I don't have a best friend. There's just no one I've let get that close yet. I'm really trying,believe me I am. It's just not easy for me. Especially after the added things that happened. I'm walking through this all on my own, in the worlds eyes. But I know, what I have is more important. I'm not alone. God is right by my side. And I know He'll send me the right people in His time. 2009,I learned how to live like a mother. Did some cooking, worked at VBS with the kids, and gave almost all of my time to others. I learned how to give advice that could actually help others. But yet,I don't feel as though I accomplished much. 2010 is going to be better. Although it's a bit over already,I can turn it around. I won't settle for another crappy year. Things are gonna change, big time. New church. I've just gotta do it. I don't know if I have the courage to leave. Everything I know is there. But it's changed, and I hardly know it anymore. I'm going to try. So,here's to goodbye,2009. You've taught me well, but it's time to move on. Hello 2010,I welcome you with open arms.
Mornings. So,I hate morning. Honestly. I can never get up. It's impossible for me. The only good thing about morning is coffee and bagels. Nothing else makes me happy in the morning. Everyone is grumpy, in the morning. So why on earth, does morning have to be there?
I am ready to lay down. To slowly fall unconscious and finally get some real rest. To dream again, I haven't slept in days. I love the comfort of my dreams. They are so nice and wonderful. But I can't hide in them. Wake up.
So anyways, Saturday. Went to a movie and bowling with the youth group. It was cool. We saw "Blind side". I somewhat enjoyed it, but the movie felt like it was ages long. I wasn't sure how long I could sit there. I didn't bowl, but instead talked to some people. It was wonderful. It was a nice day.
Sunday. I went to church. I got someone to stay in the sermon and listen. I have accomplished something. The sermon was nice. I went out to lunch with my parents. It was their 30th anniversary. 30 years. That is a long time. Forever. I then watched a movie and worked out. I had a good day.
I'm sore all over. I want to rest. Jesus <3

You know,those things people text and email you. I usually hate them. But today, I decided I'd forward one to you. One of those "What am I?" things, where you tell the person who sent you it,the things you think they are out of the options. And apparently, you think I'm 1.cute. 2.sweet. 3.lovable. 4.weird. That made my day, just so you know.
So,enough of that silly stuff. Well,actually I don't have much to say right now except silly stuff. I'm trying to think but I'm so darned tired.
I made a notebook today, and called it "letters I never sent" thanks to this awesome website I found. I'm writing letters, that people shall never get. Either because I have no idea where to send them, or I don't have the nerve to. It's basically just thoughts, about old friends,or people who have hurt me. What I'd like to say to them. It really helps to write it out. Even though they're never going to see them.
So,I've been up already for 3 hours before I actually have to get up. I've been laying in bed. Bored to tears. Creating impossible scenarios in my mind. But no,I'm glad I'm up in time before I have to get ready for church. I just wanted to let you know,blogger... that I feel like something wonderful is going to happen today. And I wanted to tell you this beforehand. So that when I come back and tell you, I'll have been right. Being right is a good feeling. I think something is gonna go down today. Funny day for that to happen.
I'm actually pretty happy, because I woke up extra early, so I could have breakfast for once. I won't starve during church today. And I'm quite happy about that. I might even play some wii. Before I have to get ready. My iPod loves me early in the morning. It rarely gets listened to at this time. And I'm quite happy to say, Michael Buble' is serenading me. And that makes me a very happy person.
So,I'm crazy. That's why I don't wake up this early. Just doesn't work for me,eh?
So,I've been thinking. Tomorrow is Valentines day,as I already mentioned. And it's also Sunday. Which means church. And if you know my pastor, you know he's crazy. But not like "Ohmygosh,get this weird guy away from me" crazy. More like the "If he's preaching about being "in it to win it" he'll make the theme nascar and ride into the sanctuary on a motorcycle." (Yes,he's done that.) So,I can almost bet.. tomorrow he's gonna be dressed as a big pink heart. Or something of that sorts. If he's not,I will be quite surprised. I'm almost guessing he's gonna preach about God's love instead of romantic love for us poor singles so we feel less bad about ourselves. I mean, what pastor wouldn't do that? But then again,there is the chance that my crazy pastor will think of something totally off the wall to preach about. And that is why I love him. He's a great pastor, not like any other. He's fun. You don't fall asleep in his sermons. So P. Dana, here's to you!
Blogger from my phone. As it turns out,I tried to use blogger from my phone. And you know what happened? It sent a bunch of fweakin' random letters and characters to my blogger. And not the lovely story I sent. And to add to it, it did 3 posts. And I have no idea how to delete posts on here. So I have to edit all three of these into stories about who knows what. Lovely,you're always lovely.
Today,I went on a walk. And about froze half to death. But,it was a lovely walk. I go on walks all the time. Because it's the only way I can clear my mind without going insane. Really. I hadn't been on one in months. And to be quite honest, I cannot take it anymore. So I put on two pair of pants, a sweater,a hoodie,a coat, and some gloves.. and was off. With my iPod of course. Can't much have a good walk without music. And it so happens that I dropped my iPod in the snow. I've dropped it in water, so many times. My iPod is so loyal. Still working,after 5 years of torture. I <3 you iPod.
And I'm not sure whether or not I much care. It's the "romantic" holiday. The "Love" day. But what is love? Don't underestimate it's power. True love is almost impossible to find. Many are fooled by infatuation. Okay,maybe all of us, at one point. But that excitement fades after a while. True love keeps on going. But it takes commitment and patience to stick it through. Love can save a life. Love can chance a life. Love can keep your heart together. It's the only thing that can fix a broken heart. Everyone deserves to be loved. No matter what they've done. We all make mistakes.
I'll admit,I got a little over-emo acting last night in my posts. If that was even last night?It feels like forever ago. Today is somewhat better,but I've got a heck of a lot on my mind. It's rant time.
Friends. Everyone's got them, whether you're popular or not. No matter who you are, you've got friends. What is a true friend though? Someone loving who stands by your side no matter what of course. Someone who you can trust with everything. Someone who won't judge you because of that fact. I thought I had some pretty darn good friends. But it's not like it used to be. My phone isn't ringing off the hook anymore. I don't have a true best friend. I have a few friends,who are the best. (I love you guys) But no one to call my best friend. It just seems like there's no one close enough, no one who has seen me at my worst. I'm not sure anyone would even love me if they saw me that way. See what I mean? No best friend. *sigh* God will send someone eventually. The question is, when?
Single-osity.
Or whatever you might call it. 7 months of it for me. I've enjoyed it greatly, focusing on God. Getting ahead in school. Writing songs. Learning to play guitar. Just getting to know people. But now, I have no one to write songs about. No one to focus on God with me. No one to be proud of the fact, that I'm doing so good. No one to listen to my songs over the phone, or anywhere. It's not that I don't like being single. I just like the idea, of having someone in my corner, to share my life with. I mean,I'm not complaining by any means. It's probably just the fact that Valentines day is so close,that this is bothering me. I just...don't know sometimes. I could probably do better,with someone by my side.
I could really just use an adventure. I've had it with the mundane. I'm tired of going through the motions. Lets do something different for a change. But whatever shall we do? I just don't get it.
