Loooooooove is a beautiful thing ♥

Ha, a story I wrote. Don't ask. (:

There once was a young maiden who, on the thirteenth day of the third
month of the two thousand and tenth year, met someone who would forever change her life.
At first to her, he was just another young lad, who could maybe help her on her way to where she
needed to be. They had been talking for a while over letters, but they soon decided to
meet. So the young maiden set off to the theatre, where they planned to meet that
night to see a musical. The young lad had brought a few friends along with him,
and though they had seemed nice enough, the young maiden was a little uncomfortable.
She wasn't sure that she wanted to do this again, but she had promised the young lad
she would visit the church that he attended, at least once. You see, the young maiden
had been in church her whole life, and she held her love for the Lord dear. But as of
lately, it seemed like her church had been more set on who was more important, or
full of many talents. It seemed they didn't focus on the Almighty like she did, and she
had been searching desperately for another place. It seemed that she couldn't find one
that was right for her though. Many that she visited were lovely, but not for her. So
her search continued. One day she had cried out to the Lord,
"Dearest Lord, am I not supposed to be happy? What am I supposed to do? All I want
to do is serve you, in a place where it doesn't matter who has something more fancy
than someone else. I need somewhere nearby, somewhere for me to live my life
for you and to be accepted at the same time. If I may, I ask of thee to take said
matter into thine own hands. You know what I really, truly desire."

After that night, the young maiden stopped searching, and went about her life.
She knew the good Lord would provide in His time. And not long after that was
when she had met the young lad. She was rather curious, if this was God's answer to her
prayer. But yet, she was afraid. Afraid that she would not be accepted in the young
lads church. You see, they did things differently than where she had attended before.
Regardless, she decided since she had made a promise to visit it at least once, she would
be true to her word. There wasn't anything to be lost. For if she was judged, she would
just not return there.

The days passed by, and finally it was the day to visit the young lads church. When she
walked through the doors, she saw how lovely everything looked. Many greeted her with
warm greetings, and told her she looked lovely. Never had she felt so accepted and loved.
And when the services began, something inside of her just knew. This was where the good
Lord wanted her. This was it. She returned for the next service, and many more after that
and she had never been more content in her life. She even had her eye on a handsome
lad for a while. He appeared to be a knight, but she wasn't sure. Her friendship with the
young lad, and many others continued to grow.

As the months passed, the handsome lad turned out to be just like any other lad. This
disappointed the young maiden for she was rather lonely. She began to forget any
feelings she had for that lad, and one day something strange happened. The young lad
who had first invited her here, walked through the doors. But that isn't the strange thing.
For he commonly walked through those same doors. He appeared different, to the young
maiden. It was as if her eyes had been transfigured, and something inside had changed.
Her heart began to swell with happiness and warmth as he came over and their hands
brushed. What is this? The young maiden thought to herself. "I thought he was just like
every other young lad." Confusion swept over her, and she ignored it for the longest time.
She prayed to her dearest Lord many times about it, until one day the young lad went on
a trip to a faraway land. They wrote letters, while he was gone and she was heart sick. For
she missed him so. She soon found out that the young lad was stranded in this land, and
she begin to worry sick about him. Days passed, and he suddenly showed up at the next
service. She was overwhelmed with joy. She let all of her pride go and ran to him and
wrapped her arms around him. The young lad was in shock. The maiden couldn't
take it anymore. She let her words pour out like a waterfall, she told him of her feelings
for him and how worried she was, and just everything. He was amazed, you see the young
lad had feelings for her too. When she looked at him now, he appeared to glow. And they
soon decided they had to be together.

After that day, the young maidens life had changed forevermore. She talked to her love,
everyday. He was no longer just a young lad to her. She had come to discover that he was
a Prince, all along. Before, she had been blinded by her own selfish heart. But now, she was
happy. She had fallen in love with the young prince who had brought her here in the beginning.
There is still much to this story, that has yet to be told.
There's a bright future ahead for the young maiden and the prince,
as their love for each other grew much stronger with every passing day.

The End
